# Blue Light Maps

Blue Light Maps Limited is a UK company building emergency-vehicle mapping and navigation. The product is used by police, fire & rescue, and ambulance services, plus individual blue-light responders. It runs on iOS and Android, integrates with CarPlay and Android Auto, and supports MDM deployment for fleets via Intune and equivalent.

The core differentiator is that the routing engine accounts for emergency-vehicle exemptions (bus lanes, contraflow, restricted turns, pedestrianised zones) and vehicle-specific constraints (appliance dimensions, weight, speed humps) — finding faster routes to scene that consumer navigation can't surface. Operational overlays (hydrants, RVPs, cordons, MISPER locations, ANPR, custom force/service data) sync to every device in real time.
