What's the fastest way there?

Routes that use the exemptions emergency vehicles can, fit the vehicle you're driving, and arrive with the rendezvous point and other units on screen.

An in-cab screen navigating to a rendezvous point, with unit 25E at scene, unit 27V four minutes behind, and a Street View picture of the destination as the crew arrives.

From the call to the door

Consumer and HGV navigation can’t use the exemptions emergency vehicles have: bus lanes, bus gates, contraflow, restricted turns and pedestrianised zones. Neither does it understand how quickly an emergency service vehicle drives down different types of road. Blue Light Routing does both. It routes you through your exemptions, fits the route to your vehicle’s dimensions and weight, and avoids speed humps where it can.

Getting there is half the job. Crews also arrive knowing where the RVP is and how far out backup is, with your own layers, like hydrants, on the same map.

  1. Step 01

    Route it

Blue Light Routing uses your exemptions, like bus lanes and bus gates, and fits the route to your vehicle's dimensions and weight.

  2. Step 02

    Drive it on the dash

Turn-by-turn directions on the vehicle's own screen, through CarPlay and Android Auto. If signal drops, routing carries on.

  3. Step 03

    Clear the road ahead

Blue Light Alert® warns drivers ahead on your route through Waze, before they can see or hear you.

  4. Step 04

    Arrive with the picture

The RVP is on the map, and other crews' live ETAs sit under the turn instructions, so you know how far out backup is.
